Sean’s Top 3 Games For Week 11

Week 10 of the NFL season is a wrap.

It was a record breaking week.

Game winning field goals were all the rage in Week 10.

We had not 1, not 2, not even 3, but we had 5…. thats right….5 game winning field goals. As you can imagine, Pat MacAfee was stooooooooooooked on Monday.

Now it’s time to move on and look forward to Week 11.

There are quite a few great games to choose from, so without further ado, here are the 3 games you should watch for in Week 11.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (7-2).
Game starts at 8:15 PM (EST) on ABC and ESPN.

  • Both QBs, Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) and Jalen Hurts (Eagles) are front runners in the MVP race for the second straight season.
  • Both teams have defenses ranked in the top half of the league. Chiefs have the 3rd best overall defense and the Eagles have the 14th best ranked defense.
  • Both teams have Top 10 offenses in the NFL. The Eagles have the 3rd best overall offense, while the Chiefs have the 7th ranked offense.

My Prediction – With both teams coming off a bye week, I expect there to be a few trick plays thrown in. Chiefs HC Andy Reid has a record of 27-4 coming off of a bye week, and you cannot overlook the importance of that stat.

Chiefs 27-24.

Game Two.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) at Cleveland Browns (6-3).
Game start at 1:00 PM (EST) on CBS.

  • Browns QB Deshaun Watson is done for the season with a fractured glenoid in his right shoulder. That means backup QB P.J. Walker is starting.
  • Both teams have DPOTY candidates in DE Myles Garrett (Browns) and TJ Watt (Steelers), as they both have double-digit sacks already this season.
  • Both teams have Top 10 defenses. Browns have the #1 overall defense and the Steelers have the #7 ranked defense.

My Prediction – The injury to Deshaun Watson is a big loss. P.J. has thrown 5 INTs to only 1 TD. Pittsburgh is going to load the box and dare him to beat them over the top.

Steelers win 19-13.

Game Three.

Arizona Cardinals (2-8) at Houston Texans (5-4).
Game starts at 1:00 PM (EST) on CBS.

  • QB Kyler Murray looked good in his first game back from last seasons ACL injury.
  • QB C.J. Stroud is not only going to win OROTY, he’s also REALLY in the conversation for NFL MVP.
  • Both teams had their QB’s lead them to game winning drives, that set up the game winning field goals. When it mattered the most, they came in clutch.

My Prediction – The Texans are the deeper and better team. They are just rolling along winning 3 of the last 4 games, and are 3-1 at home this season.

Texans win 27-21.
