Should Andrew Barry be Catching Heat?

Andrew Barry leaves no stones unturned when trying to improve the roster, but he came up short when he didn’t add a veteran QB at the NFL Trade Deadline, especially with Deshaun dealing with a shoulder injury.

An injury that he sustained in week 3 vs the Tennessee Titans! His shoulder wasn’t completely healed when he came back, so then you were risking his security by playing him. Look at where the Browns are right now…without Watson for rest of the year, because of another hit, he took on his shoulder.

The Browns have a Super Bowl caliber roster and need to be lead by a veteran quarterback and Andrew Barry didn’t do it. I believe he failed the team and fanbase, vets know how to rally a locker room, have had their fair share of experience and have been in similar experiences. With a Super Bowl roster you’re planning on having a long road!

Dorian Thompson-Robinson is set to start vs their division rival the Pittsburgh Steelers, he’s now going to have a full week of practice and take all the reps under center in practice. It’ll be interesting to see how he performs with 4 not returning till next year , after recovering from shoulder surgery!

Although Deshaun is the long-term answer in reality, DTR is the present, and now the questions looms, what will the remainder of the season going forward look like??

We will see if Andrew Barry made the right call or not!
