On Tuesday, in a Sports Illustrated Q&A Las Vegas Raiders Insider Hondo Carpenter said:

“I will get into the ten biggest disagreements that they had and where both of them failed after the season. I will give you one area they disagreed vehemently, but you’ll have to wait for the others. Josh wanted Jimmy Garoppolo, and Dave thought it was a terrible decision.“

Now this is not to say that any Quarterback would have done well under McDaniels; both Carr and Garoppolo tanked as Raiders.

Each QB having their worst season under Coach McDaniels.

After seeing O’Connell go 16-25 with 209 yds this past weekend, plenty of Raiders fans wish they could get that $72 Million contract back!

At this point it is all in the past, O’Connell is starting QB for head coach Antonio Pierce.
