On Sunday Giants QB Daniel Jones went down; the injury was confirmed on Monday morning that the MRI results stated that it was a Torn ACL.

What does this mean for DJ, and what does this mean for the New York Giants?

Well with the Giants down to their 3rd string QB, and the season all but yanked already, most of the G MEN faithful are calling it a season, and preparing for the Draft..

Many are calling this the end for Schoen, Daboll, and Jones. To me that sounds ridiculous.

To quote former Giant Lawrence Tynes

“I refuse to believe that Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen are in any kind of danger of being fired.”

Not one responsible forward thinking leader can look at the facts of this season, and say yeah, they should have won 9-10 games and been a playoff team.

The injuries at key positions have been too much to overcome.

Daboll and Schoen 100% deserve the opportunity to have another season to get the franchise back on its very proud feet.

So lets assume no leadership changes come for 2024….

What about DJ though?

This guy has truly put his body on the line to prove he is the future of this franchise, and the team responded with the contract to match, that was before Daniel tore his ACL.

Now, New York is on the hook as of now for a guaranteed 81 million dollars for Daniel, but the Giants also have some solid draft capital.

Is it time to go get that next guy?

Put him in behind DJ and give him time to develop?

Someone like a Caleb Williams perhaps?

That is what I think….

Unless the Giants can land an NFL ready QB like CJ Stroud, you find the right guy and continue building.

At this point, whether it is Daniel Jones or the next up and comer for New York, nobody lasts without fixing that offensive line.

What do Giants fans think? Is it time to move on? 2024 here we come?
