Late Tuesday evening news broke that one Josh McDaniels (Head Coach) and Dave Ziegler (GM) both got the proverbial axe.
The question remains, is it coaching or is it ownership? With Mark Davis being the constant, and the team cycling through 12 coaches in 20 seasons, I think we might know the answer. So what does this mean for the Raiders locker room?
Well for starters, linebacker coach, and locker room favorite Antonio Pierce will take the keys to the castle for the remainder of this season.
That is correct, Antonio Pierce, middle Linebacker, and heart and soul of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLII Champion Defense, he has already made waves in the locker room and has the full support of this organization.

Can he fix the recent woes for the Raiders? And will it even matter? Last time an interim coach took over (Rich Bisaccia) and lead them to a 7-5 record, and eventually he got canned.
Chris Canty said it best.
“Mark Davis just needs to admit he does not know what he is doing”
It is time to go out and find a football mind( ie: Bill Parcells) that can come in and take full control of this organization and rebuild it with an understanding of the sport , and a proven track record.
Who is that man? I am not sure, but I wish Antonio Pierce the utmost luck in his newest role as the new Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders! As a fan of the Raiders, I believe that #RaiderNation is genuinely excited!
