As the NFL Trade Deadline approaches, we have a big trade.

The New York Giants have traded Pro Bowl DL Leonard Williams to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2024 second round pick and a 2025 fifth round pick.

The 6’5″, 302 lbs lineman was drafted by the Giants with the 6th overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft, out of USC.

So far this season, he has 21 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

For his career, Williams has recorded 470 tackles, and 39.5 sacks. He’s also added 6 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries, 1 interception, with 10 passes defended.

The trade will not be official until Williams gets to Seattle and passes the team physical.

This is a huge upgrade for the Seahawks, who are 5-2 on the season and looking to not only make the playoffs, but make a run towards the Super Bowl.

The Giants are 2-6, and looking like they will be heading into a rebuild mode.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
