Dropped a tough one last week as the Lions never got off the bus in Baltimore. We move to 7-3 over our last ten article plays and are looking to get back in the win column today.

We head to Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA as the Steelers welcome the Jacksonville Jaguars. Pittsburgh comes in off a 24-17 win against the LA Rams. Offensively the Steelers are still trying to figure things out, as they haven’t posted more than 26 points during any game this season.

Their bread and butter, their defense has still been more dominate than ever. The Steelers are second in the NFL in allowing passing completions. On the ground they’re 24th in rushing yards allowed.

After starting their season 1-2 the Jaguars come in on a four game winning streak. Jacksonville needs to tighten up their defense as well, allowing 64 points over its last three games combined. An advantage for the Jags in this matchup is they haven’t played since Thursday.

Extra rest and prep time for head coach Doug Peterson to prepare for second year QB Kenny Pickett. Jacksonville sits just outside the top 10 in the NFL for passing yards. They also are 11th in rushing yards with 794 on the year.

The problem for the Steelers in this matchup is they cant afford to trail. While they can neutralize the passing game they can’t stop the run, which Jacksonville does well. I’m also not sold on the Steelers 4-2 record.

Besides the win against the Ravens which is always a tough divisional battle, they beat the Raiders, Rams, and Browns with a struggling Deshaun Watson. This will be the first time Jacksonville is favored in Pittsburgh since 1999.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
