The Oklahoma City Thunder went on a 18-5 run erasing a 10 point deficit in the final minutes of the 4th quarter and defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-105.
The Oklahoma City Thunder 2-0 were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 34 points 11 rebounds and 5 steals. Luguentz Dort scored 25 points with 6 rebounds and rookie center Chet Holmgren had his first NBA career double double with 16 points 13 rebounds and 7 blocked shots.
The Cleveland Cavaliers played Friday nights game without starting center Jarrett Allen (bone bruise) and starting PG Darius Garland (hamstring). Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 43 points 8 rebounds and 5 assists Evan Mobley scored 14 points and 15 rebounds Caris LeVert coming off the bench scored 17 points for the Cleveland Cavaliers 1-1.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will next face the defending NBA Champion Denver Nuggets on Sunday at Oklahoma City and the Cleveland Cavaliers will next face the Indiana Pacers Saturday at home.
