On Wednesday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers opened the 2023-24 NBA season, in Brooklyn, to take on the Nets.

Some new faces appeared for Cleveland, for example, Emoni Bates, Georges Niang, Max Strus, and some returning ones, like Tristan Thompson.

The Cleveland Cavaliers won a tightly contested game in the end with them defeating the Brooklyn Nets, 114-113. Max Strus finished with 27 points, tied with the team high with Donovan Mitchell.

Strus however did break a record in his Cavaliers debut.
