Deshaun Watson has yet to live up to his 230 million dollar contract that Cleveland Browns guaranteed him to entice him to make Cleveland his new long term home!

Watson injured his shoulder in week 3 vs the Tennessee Titans and hasn’t really practiced or been able to put zip on the ball to be QB1 but yet the Browns named him the starter for the game against the Colts who they’d played week 6 and after 5 passes, almost 2 interceptions and a supposed ding up the Browns pull Deshaun for PJ Walker to save the Franchise Guy!

That’s a failure on the organization to put number 4 out there if he isn’t ready but on the other hand if you put him out there then keep him out there! Before the Cleveland Browns traded for the former Houston Texans superstar QB he was out 700+ days because he requested a trade and the Texans refused to play him due to that, on top of being suspended 11 games last year.

As of now, bench Watson, and keep him benched till he’s ready, or if you play him, stick with him because he’s never going to get up to real consistent game speed if the front office and coaching staff is wishy washy with his playing status.

Lastly I’ll give my opinion of the QB saga…I’d put Watson on IR and go out and sign a Free Agent like Carson Wentz, Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, maybe Phillip Rivers or trade for Kirk Cousins who would be a rental and has history in a Stefanski offense, last option would be bring back Jacoby Brissett who was at the helm last year in place of Deshaun while he was suspended!
