Once again this Thursday in Louisville Kentucky it’s time for Ohio Valley Wrestling.
In the Davis Arena the sparks will fly, bodies will be broken like once at Casanova the hearts.
The October 19th episode is already casting its shadow and we take a little look at it.
What matches have been announced for the last show before the Halloween Season Pay-Per-View “No Rest For The Wicked” on Saturday.
•Singles Match: “HollyHood” Haley J vs. Riley Matthews
Former OVW Women’s Champion “HollyHood” Haley J meets Riley Matthews.
Will Haley get back to her old form and make her way to Championship?
Will Tiffany Nieves get her revenge after last week’s embarrassment?
Qualifications for the “Nightmare Cup” continue
•Triple Threat Elimination- Nightmare Cup Qualifier: The Fallen vs. The Destroyers vs. Star Rider & Manny Domingo
This week, of course, there will be another qualifying match for a spot in the Nightmare Cup Tag Team Tournament.
The Triple Threat Match between the three teams is absolutely unpredictable, all of them bring qualities that you want to see in a Tag Team Tournament. After the missed chance in the Tag Team Battle Royal, these three teams want to know it again and absolutely want to be a part of the tournament.
Can Ryan Von Rockit pull off another upset win?
•Singles Match: Ryan Von Rockit vs. Truth Magnum from The Outrunners
The Outrunners are in a bit of a crisis.
They failed to qualify for the “Nightmare Cup” and lost to Level X (Blanco Loco & Will Austin) the previous week. Now Truth Magnum tries his hand in a singles match against Ryan Von Rockit, who is fresh off my upset win against OVW Rush Division Champion Kal Herro to take the next W. You can expect some drama from this match.
Does Kal Herro really have his head in the game?
•Singles Match: Kal Herro vs. “The 89s Baby” TW3
Once again TW3 gets to prove himself, this time against OVW Rush Division Champion Kal Herro. Kal is since his failed Running Knee against ring announcer Linda Kay, not really with the thoughts where he should be.
Will he deliver on Thursday or take the next loss?
On Saturday he also meets Adam Revolver and has to put his beloved Rush Division Championship on the line.
Tony Gunn climbs up the ranks
•Singles Match: “Shotgun” Tony Gunn vs. Deget Bundlez
Tony Gunn is becoming a weekly highlight of the OVW show. His show opener matches have been a blast for weeks! “The Shotgun” will likely tear down the house again this week, but Deget Bundlez is not an easy act to follow. It will be interesting to see what happens.
Bad Girls Club vs. Freya & TITI- NO DQ
•Texas Tornado Tag Match – No DQ: TITI & Freya The Slaya vs. Bad Girls Club (Leila Grey & Jada Stone)
The feud between Bad Girls Club, TITI, Freya The Slaya and “Haley J has been dragging on for weeks. The action of Freya and Haley has not been forgotten. This match is going to be one for the books. Despite the good connection between TITI and Freya, I personally see the Bad Girls Club as having a clear advantage here.
The OVERmen want to make Jessie pay for the betrayal before Saturday!
•3 on 3 Tag Team Match: The OVERmen (EC3, Joe Mack & Luke Kurtis) vs. Jessie Godderz & ???
The relationship between Jessie Godderz and The OVERmen is no longer dysfunctional, but completely broken. EC3 not only has the reins firmly in his hands at NWA, but took over the faction The OVERmen. It couldn’t go well for long between the two alphas Ethan Carter III and “Mr.PEC-tacular”. Now Jessie has to find two competitors by Thursday to take on the OVW Tag Team Champions and the NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion. What will happen?
A lot is going to happen this week and we can be curious about who might appear in this episode. After all, via social media ‘X’ has already been spoiled a bit in this direction.
On Thursday at 7pm we will learn more and likely get the full “No Rest For The Wicked” match card.
