*Tony Gunn wins with a Top Rope Flapjack against part of the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions The OVERmen Luke Kurtis.
-The Bad Girls Club celebrates in a restaurant, Tiffany even complained about how competition is delicate and eliminated nowadays, while saying this in front of ex champion Haley J. The girls order themselves 3 vodka martinis and the most expensive dessert. The girls also make fun of the cellar and mock him.
•Singles Match:
Shalonce Royal w/ PJ Jones vs. Dream Girl Ellie
*Shalonce Royal defeats Dream Girl Ellie with strong help from PJ Jones and a Running Big Boot.
NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion EC3 in Action!
•Singles Match:
NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion EC3 w/ Shannon The Dude vs. “The 80s Baby” TW3
*EC3 takes the win with a Million Dollar Crossface against a partially over-matched TW3.
-Back at the restaurant, the Bad Girls Club make fun of the most expensive dessert. Haley and Freya disrupt the party a bit when they just join them unannounced and former OVW Women’s Champion “HollyHood” Haley J make it clear with vodka martinis in hand that the basement would be a friend of hers. Haley and Freya just wanted to bring Jada, Leila and Tiffany their drinks, then they pour them in the BGC’s face.
-The OVW Tag Team Champions Luke Kurtis and Joe Mack- The OVERmen come to the ring to watch the next match up close.
No Luck for the Outrunners
•Tag Team Match (2023 Nightmare Cup Qualifier):
Level X (Will Austin & Blanco Loco) vs. The Outrunners
*Level X defeated The Outrunners via pinfall after a Double Corner Dropkick against Truth to qualify for the “Nightmare Cup”.
Ca$h Flo’s big Announcement has it all
The second hour of OVW TV Live begins with Ca$h Flo and his big announcement.
The fans in the Davis Arena cheer Ca$h loudly as always. Flo quickly gets down to business and talks about “No Rest For The Wicked” where the “Nightmare Cup” will take place. A tag team tournament, to guarantee a chance for a title match against the OVERmen. Actually he is only interested in EC3, who he wants to get his hands on, but for that he has to eliminate the champs first. So he will participate in the “Nightmare Cup”. Now he needs a partner for the tournament.
The arena turns upside down when former OVW National Champion Shera comes to the ring. Ca$h wants to clarify if this means that Shera will be his partner.
Shera answers with a resounding YES!
Crixus has a plan for Evans
•Singles Match:
OVW Kentucky Heavyweight Champion Crixus vs. Steve Michaels
*Crixus wins over Steve Michaels after a Running Dropkick despite the intervention of Tony Evans & Jay Deniro.
-Tony Evans demands a title match for “his” OVW Kentucky Heavyweight Championship and Crixus is a coward for not giving him what he deserves.
Crixus says okay at “No Rest For The Wicked” Evans gets his match, but Deniro is handcuffed to the referee. Evans is beside himself as the Kentucky Heavyweight Champion celebrates.
Jessie Godderz wants EC3
-The OVERmen are in the ring- EC3, Shannon The Dude, Luke Kurtis and Joe Mack.
EC3 talks about the greatness of the OVERmen and that the fans should finally recognize it. He then talks about how he not only wants to be the greatest wrestling champion of all time, but also the greatest OVERman of all time. The OVERmen would follow a real leader – him – EC3.
NOT Jessie Godderz! This is exactly who shows up via video. Jessie says he just found out he had to beat EC3 guys to get to him and take away what is currently the most important thing in EC3’s life (the NWA World Heavyweight Champion looks puzzled at his Championship Belt). See you soon Godderz replies in closing. Ethan Carter 3 issues a challenge for next week in Jessie’s direction, tell him to find 2 more idiots and take on him and the OVW Tag Team Champions.
-OVW Rush Division Champion Kal Herro is still upset about last week’s incident when he accidentally gave Linda K a running knee and Adam Revolver would now be challenger number one for his championship. Adam Revolver is seen on video making it clear that women are just terrible tag team partners and that now Kal would know that. But “No Rest For The Wicked” is about the title! Kal is more than ready for this fight, he assures.
Kal Herro totally insecure
•Singles Match:
Ryan Von Rockit w/ Crystal & Katie vs. OVW Rush Division Champion Kal Herro
*Ryan Von Rockit defeated a visibly rattled Kal Herro in a chaotic match after his Shake, Rattle & Roll via pinfall.
-Joe Mack & Luke Kurtis are again guest commentators for the next match.
Teamwork makes the Dream work
•Tag Team Match (2023 Nightmare Cup Qualifier):
Dysfunction vs. Ca$h Flo & Mahabali Shera
*Ca$h Flo & Mahabali Shera qualify for the “Nightmare Cup” with the victory against Dysfunction after a tag team combination via pinfall.
-Ca$h Flo and Mahabali Shera celebrate their victory. Luke Kurtis & Joe Mack don’t look impressed. The NWA Heavyweight Champion comes to ringside, this distraction is used by the Tag Team Champions to attack Shera and Flo from behind, but they quickly fight back which leads to Mahabali and Ca$h celebrating anyway. This is how this weeks episode of OVW TV Live ends.
Next weekend on October 21th, “NO REST FOR THE WICKED” will take place live from the sold-out Davis Arena in Louisville Kentucky. The event will be broadcast live on FiteTV.
