The Indianapolis Colts and their star HB Jonathan Taylor have kissed and made up.
The former Pro Bowler has signed a three-year contract extension, worth $42 million.
$26.5 million of it, is guaranteed. According to ESPN and reported by Adam Schefter.
The new extension makes him one of the highest paid backs, in the NFL.
It also clears him to be able to play tomorrow against the Tennessee Titans.
After almost a year of bad feelings, harsh words, and threats by both parties; everybody got together and got a deal done, that has made everyone happy.
Jonathan Taylor was taken in the 2nd Round (pick #41) of the 2020 NFL Draft, out of the University of Wisconsin.
In his NFL career he has 756 carries, for 3,841 yards, and 33 TDs. He’s also added 104 catches, for 802 yards, and 3 TDs.
Now that Taylor is back in the fold, this is a major step in helping the development of rookie QB Anthony Richardson.
