According to “rumors” and from the mouth of his own father, Heisman Trophy winner, and current USC QB Caleb Williams, might go back to USC and skip the 2024 NFL Draft.

Total Pro Sports has put out a release stating that Caleb can “make more money playing another year at USC than he can as a rookie QB in the NFL.”

Apparently, there’s even a list of five teams that he would play for.

Those teams are…..

  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Las Vegas Raiders
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • New York Giants
  • San Francisco 49ers

You can scratch San Francisco off that list, because they’re making the playoffs.

You can scratch Dallas off that list, because they’d have to cut QB Dak Prescott and that would be a dead cap hit of $61,915,000.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones might be rich and nuttier than a fruit basket in a rubber room, but he isn’t crazy enough to do that.

That leaves the Raiders, Vikings, and Giants.

After what the world saw on Monday Night Football last night, why would anyone want to play behind that horrific Giants offensive line.

The way that those three teams are playing, it’s possible they could end up with the #1 pick in next year’s draft, or close enough to it, that they can make a trade for it.

Personally, I think it’s mostly BS, and people just shooting their mouths off.

We will get the truth on here in the next few months, when he has to declare his intentions.
