Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones was arrested, according to Adam Schefter.
The star defensive end is being held in the Clark County Detention Center. He is being charged with violating a domestic violence temporary restraining order.
Bail has been set at $15,000.
The Super Bowl 49 Champion and 2x All-Pro, hasn’t played a single snap this season. He was put on the reserve/non-football illness list on September 20th. He hasn’t even been around the team since Labor Day.
Jones has been in the news lately for his bizarre social media posts.
He claimed to have been to a hospital and then later to a behavior health facility “against his will”.
He also released some posts disparaging Raiders owner Mark Davis, Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler, and Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels.
Last season, Jones finished the season with 38 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries and 3 passes defended.
The Raiders have refused to comment any further, other than saying that it’s a private matter.
UPDATE: Chandler Jones was arrested after stealing items inside of his ex girlfriend’s house.
