I’m a firm believer in “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” We are 6-1 in our last seven article plays and 2-0 to start the NFL season. We have been doing well with our 3T teaser/parlay selection, so we are going to give another one out for week three.
Like last week, this weeks play starts on Thursday with the Thursday Night Football matchup. The 1-1 New York Giants head to San Francisco to battle the 2-0 49ers. Like we’ve discussed on The SnoozeYouLose Podcast (that I hope you are tuning into every Monday live on Millions.co) Brock Purdy looks healthy and the Niners are stacked at every position. San Fran is my pick to win the NFC. The Giants barely escaped Arizona with a win after a 21 point comeback, but RB Saquon Barkley injured his ankle and his out for the next three weeks. With how good the 49ers have looked and how bad the Giants have, 10 points is still a lot, so we’ll buy that down to SF -3.
Our second leg, the Indianapolis Colts head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. It’s Thursday morning and rookie QB Anthony Richardson still hasn’t practiced. Richardson is in concussion protocol after sustaining a concussion last week against the Texans. Backup Gardner Minshew has come in twice already this year as Richardson left week ones matchup early against the Texans. Minshew will have a full week of practice, but hasn’t looked great and the Ravens allow the third fewest yards per pass attempt in the NFL. Instead of the -8 we are going with Ravens moneyline.
And last, but not least, the Jacksonville Jaguars covered for us last week in an ugly game versus Kanas City. Trevor Lawrence and company only mustard up nine points at home. Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud hasn’t looked bad, as he’s yet to throw an interception through his first two games. With three teams tied at 1-1 in the AFC South the Jaguars will look to get a division win and take out some frustration on Houston. Instead of -8.5 we are buying Jacksonville down to -2.5.
