I hope the question mark made you read that like Ron Burgundy in Anchorman. After cashing last week, we are rolling with another teaser for NFL Sunday. The reason we are posting the article early is because leg one of the teaser starts tonight with the Eagles/Vikings matchup.
Minnesota heads to Philadelphia on a short week for the Eagles home opener. The Vikings are 0-1 after falling to the Buccaneers 20-17. A surprising loss to new look Tampa Bay with Baker Mayfield at the helm. The road doesn’t get easier tonight playing an Eagles teams that’s loaded on both sides of ball. Philly is currently 1-0 after escaping a close game in New England 25-20. We all know Kirk Cousins awful 12-20 primetime record, but Cousins is 5-2 against the spread in his last seven primetime games. A lot of public money will be on Philadelphia and Minnesota will come out desperate to try and avoid going 0-2. We are going to teaser the Eagles down to ML just to win this game, but not cover the -6.5.
For leg two my AFC favorite Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Kanas City Chiefs Sunday for Jacksonville’s home opener. Kanas City should look better than they did week one, as Travis Kelce return seems likely, as well as defensive end Chris Jones who ended his holdout. Jacksonville will be motivated to play a Chiefs team that knocked them out the playoffs last year. Odds currently have KC -3.5 so we are going to get the Jags at +10 in our teaser.
Last but not least, did you guys see how bad Ryan Tannehill looked? 16/34 198 yards and 3 INTs. After falling 16-15 to the Saints, the Titans now take on the Los Angeles Chargers. LAC would be ill advised to go 0-2 in a stacked AFC West. A tough 36-34 loss against an explosive Dolphins teams and what I saw from Tannehill would give me no reason to think Tennessee will be able to keep up offensively. Well get the Chargers at +4 which should be a steal.
