Andrew Barry continues to live by what he’s always said “always looking to improve the roster”
The Browns are trading a 2025 7th-round pick to the Chargers for kicker Dustin Hopkins who’s also played in Washington, Buffalo, New Orleans so he’s been in many elements while kicking.
Over his 8-year career, Hopkins has a 94.4% on PATs, and his 84.8% on FGs is the 20th-best in NFL history.
Cade York has been waived, the former 4th rounder will certainly hitch on somewhere else, when he clears waivers.
In the AFC North all 4 teams can win the division, in this division the division games are most wins more than any other division.
If the Browns want to win the division they will probably need 11-12 in the win column and games will come down to making PAT’s, FGs, because all points matter and the Browns can’t afford to have a down year with the roster they’ve built.
Let’s be honest, if this season doesn’t go how we hope, Stefanski is likely gone.
It’s a “no excuses” year when you’re paying your superstar QB $230 million guaranteed and equipping the offense around him…it’s time to WIN!
