Last night’s Welterweight Championship Fight in Las Vegas between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Bud Crawford wasn’t even close. From the 2nd round on it was all about Terance Bud Crawford’s total domination of Spence Jr.

No match for Crawford’s speed and power , Spence Jr suffered his first loss of his professional boxing career along with also his first time getting knocked on the canvas in the 2nd round, and later in the 7th round, Crawford knocked Spence Jr down twice and in the 9th and final round the refs stopped the fight with Crawford being in total control.

Being dominant and having his way with Spence Jr. Terence Crawford became the Undisputed Welterweight Champion and the first male boxer to accomplish this feat in 2 different weight classes ever. The first back in 2017 in the Super Lightweight Division and now in 2023 in the Welterweight Division.

Crawford landed punches on Spence Jr at a 50% rate and a 60% rate with his power punches. End result, total domination of a previously unbeaten fighter who had 3 championship titles in a completely one sided contest, and to go along with that Bud now has a 11 consecutive fight stoppage streak.

I personally think it’s time to start mentioning Terence Bud Crawford with some of the All Time Greats in Boxing period.
