For the Dallas Cowboys, a new season ahead, and the same predictions the Cowboys could do it , we’ve gotten stronger, our roster is better than our rivals, these are simply the same statement’s thrown around regularly at this time of the year.

Well this year most definitely can be the year the Cowboys get over that proverbial hump, adding an experienced piece in Gilmore, to an already great backfield was an underrated piece of business, same could be said about bringing in Cooks to take some of the load from CeeDee Lamb, Cooks is the epitome of consistency keeping opposing players on their back foot with his ability to get free or go past defenders deep, all of this whilst Lamb operates opposite routes can only mean a dangerous combination.

Add in Gallup and you’ve got a bonafide trio of talented receivers, on another note, the Zeke Elliot drama has moved along in the background, but in Tony Pollard the Cowboys have an absolute nightmare for run defenses, the guy just gets it done and doesn’t mind doing the dirty work and getting those yards in after contact, I actually think he’s been heading for this lead role for some time now. I

t’ll be exciting to see how Pollard takes on that role and responsibility, while having backed up. the pocket rocket Deuce Vaughn.

The only what if that’s felt by a few, is the QB spot, can Dak get it done and get that offensive unit purring, if he can just remain healthy and focused he’s not an end of the line talent, the Oline again if healthy can help him get into his rhythm, and display his talent once again carving up defenses.

The Dline for the Cowboys you’d argue is elite and has talent throughout but it’s their teamwork that shines through, and traps opponent’s into thinking there’s a weakness.

There isn’t a weakness though in my eyes, this unit can boast a group of experienced, explosive, game changing players, that can effect any game they’re in, and they can control the game with their capabilities of destroying plays, and making opponents doubt their next moves in pressured scenarios.

My prediction this team will at least win their division, and that’s not as surprising as fanbases may believe, don’t rule them out going from strength to strength as the season moves along.
