On Thursday, Bengals Quarterback, Joe Burrow was carted off the field with a right calf injury. The injury was a non contact injury, Burrow was rolling to his right, when he seemed to tweak his right calf.
Bengals coach, Zac Taylor, didn’t have any more information on the injury stating “It was 10 minutes ago, we don’t have any more information.”
Sources have said that after an early assessment, it seems Burrow is dealing with a right calf strain.
Burrow has struggled with injuries in training camp for the past 3 seasons. He was coming off a horrific knee injury that ended his rookie season, and then last year he was dealing with a ruptured appendix that required him to have surgery days before the start of training camp.
Funny thing is, on Wednesday, Burrow was asked about how healthy he was feeling, and this being the first training camp coming in with out any injuries… Burrow answered, “Knock on wood….I feel great.”
