CLEVELAND – The Guardians have promoted 23-year-old RHP prospect Gavin Williams to make his MLB debut tonight against the visiting Oakland A’s.
Williams has been with the AAA Columbus Clippers for the 2023 season.
He has appeared in 12 games, with the record of 4-2. An ERA of 2.39, 60.1 innings pitched, with 81 strike outs.
Williams was Cleveland’s 1st round pick in 2021 (#23 Overall), out of East Carolina.
