Aaron Rodgers Vetoed Trade to New England Patriots

After a long drawn out process, the Green Bay Packers eventually completed a trade involving Aaron Rodgers, near the end of April.

Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets, following a very similar path of Brett Favre, who was also a former Packer that headed to the Jets.

Rodgers didn’t have to follow in that same path as Favre though, Rodgers had options, including the New England Patriots, but vetoed that trade, and picked the Jets, according to Craig Carton.

What an interesting legacy Rodgers could’ve had if he went to the Patriots…the comparisons to Tom Brady….following in the footsteps years later of Brady.

Did the Patriots benefit from Rodgers vetoing their trade offer? Let us know on Twitter @WeLikeSportzPC.
