It has officially been announced that the Oakland A’s are moving to Vegas. It absolutely amazes me that before the Vegas Golden Knights formed in Vegas, the city didn’t have any major professional sports teams. Looking at every major city in the United States, you would like Vegas would have had a major sports team long ago.
Now, what teams does Vegas have now? Well, like I said in the paragraph before, the Vegas Golden Knights, and then a few years ago, the Oakland Raiders moved from Oakland to Vegas and became the Las Vegas Raiders. With the A’s moving to Vegas, Oakland is going from having 3 major sports teams (Golden State Warriors before they moved to San Fransisco), to zero.
With the A’s leaving Oakland, that has to beg the question, was this the plan all along? Did ownership purpose cause the A’s to be this bad? Let’s face it, the A’s are the laughing stock of the MLB. The A’s have 19 wins on the season with 51 losses! 70 games into the season, and the A’s are 24.5 games back in the AL West Division.
What do you guys think?
