On Tuesday afternoon, news came out from Ken Rosenthal, that the Texas Rangers were calling up their number two prospect, Owen White.

White is listed as the 47th prospect out of the MLB Top 100 prospect list.

White was drafted in the second round by the Rangers in 2018 from Carson High School in North Carolina.

Owen has a record in the minor league system of 20-6, 3.24 earned run average, 39 starts in 197.1 innings pitched, lastly the Rangers rising prospect has struck out 234 batters.

With the Texas Rangers already surprising many in baseball this year, will Owen White add himself to the list of surprises? Let us know what you think on Twitter @WeLikeSportzPC.
