On Thursday night, the Cleveland Guardians took on the Boston Red Sox.
Jose Ramirez was incredibly hot during Thursdays matchup, homering three times throughout the night, becoming the first Guardian/Indians player to do so, since 2018.
Thursday was Ramirez’s first career three homer game. Ramirez finished the day with nine homers on the season.
Ramirez got his first homer of the night in the first inning:
Jose Ramirez also homered again in the third inning, and also hit his 200th of his career at that time as well too.
For the last time on Thursday, Ramirez did it once again in the sixth inning, even to the surprise of teammate, Steven Kwan.
Following the big 10-3 victory from the Guardians over the Red Sox on Thursday, manager Terry Francona, also spoke postgame exclaiming his praise he has for Jose Ramirez and his enthusiasm for the game of baseball.
Have the Guardians starting turning the corner? Are players like Josh Naylor, Jose Ramirez, Andres Gimenez, and more, proving themselves?
