New York Yankees All-Star and reigning AL MVP is heating up. After hitting an American League record 62 home runs last year, how does his pace compare this year?
Judge has only played in 58 games this year due to an early season hip injury and prior to that had only launched 6 bombs in 26 games.
The month of May has been a different story for the slugger. Since his May 9 return, Judge has smacked 12 home runs in about 20+ games.
The Bronx Bomber is leading the American League in dingers and leading the entire majors in OPS and slugging percentage. His numbers are very similar to last year in most categories.
At this pace Judge is projected to hit anywhere between 50-55 home runs. Don’t count Judge out as he could render a verdict of 63 if he continues to hit like he does.
