The NBA Draft Lottery is tonight at 8pm on ESPN, and this year, the prize for winning the number one pick is a big one, 7’ 4” Frenchman, Victor Wembanyama.

Many experts believe this lottery and subsequent NBA Draft, because of Wembanyama, will be on par with the hype that LeBron James generated in 2003.

Wembanyama is said to be a generational talent like James, and that had many teams this past season jockeying with moves that could possibly land the rights to draft him.

The NBA Lottery is comprised of the 14 NBA teams that failed to reach the playoffs, and the teams with the worst record have the most combinations to land the top spot.

Here is a list of the teams, and their percentages to land the number one overall selection in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Detroit, Houston, and San Antonio – 14%

Charlotte – 12.5%

Portland – 10.5%

Orlando – 9%

Indiana – 7.5%

Washington – 6%

Utah – 4.5%

Dallas – 3%

Orlando via Chicago – 2%

Oklahoma City – 1.5%

Toronto – 1%

New Orleans – O.5%

The winner gets the biggest prize but also the biggest hope for a turnaround. Let the ping pong balls fly where they may!

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
