CLEVELAND – I know this is a sports website, but that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about other things going on in this world right?

Let’s touch base in the Country Music Industry, my main man Morgan Wallen is catching some HEAT! On April 23rd, he was scheduled to play in Oxford, MS in front of a sold out Vaught Hemingway Stadium. The stadium packed in 60,000 Morgan Wallen fans. The show opened up with Hardy, and what happened next left concert goers speechless.

Five minutes before Wallen was to take the stage for the second night in a row in Oxford, a message appeared on the screen…. “Ladies and Gentlemen, unfortunately Morgan has lost his voice and is unable to perform tonight – therefore tonight’s show has been cancelled. Please make your way safely to the stadium exits. Refunds for tonights event will be available at point of purchase starting tomorrow.” This caused an uproar. Many fans were left speechless, and many grown adults were seen crying.

There have been many rumors going around as to what the real reason Morgan cancelled the show, many people believe that he was too intoxicated to perform. There was a security guard who “ratted” Morgan out, stating that he need to be taken by ambulance to get his stomach pumped because he consumed too much alcohol.

Now, personally I think that is a load of bull crap in itself… How ironic.. an Ole Miss security guard spreading rumors about a Tennessee fan… interesting huh? There have been many videos posted on tiktok from the night before showing Morgan losing his voice, and those fans have Morgan’s back.

Everyone has issues that they have to overcome… everyone gets sick and loses his or her voice.. but that fact that people will make up rumors, or any of other excuse for why something didn’t go in their favor is sickening.

Morgan stay strong brother, shit happens.
