CLEVELAND – Today is the day! Major League Baseball is back in Northeast Ohio on the corner of Carnegie and Ontario!

The Cleveland Guardians start their seasons home schedule today at 4:10 against the Seattle Mariners. The Guardians have already played the Mariners to open their regular season schedule, they took 3 of 4 in Seattle.

The young Guardians team has a lot of energy coming into this season, they have already had multiple games to go extra innings and games that are decided in the last at bats, but the Guardians have shown no signs of giving up at any point in a ball game.

The Guardians are coming into their home opener at 5-2 and 1st place in the AL Central Division, and the Seattle Mariners are 2-5 and 5th place in the AL West. The Mariners are a favorite coming into this season to win the AL West, I know its early, but the Mariners are going to coming into Cleveland looking to ruin their home opening series, like the Guardians did theirs.

The Guardians played their first 7 games on the west coast, 4 in Seattle and 3 in Oakland, winning both series, will the time change, or jet lag affect the Guardians today? I think not!
