Easter is coming and keeping religion out of it, I’m thinking specifically with eggs. Of course, that gets me thinking of baskets and back to eggs. Now, I’m getting philosophical, and thinking about putting eggs in a basket so what about the hypothetical maneuvering of putting all my eggs into one basket.

If you have not stopped reading yet, thank-you so let’s just jump into it, so I may keep your attention.

Cleveland has three major sports teams, Browns, Cavs, and Guardians, and they are full of young stars and has the potential ingredients to be in a championship window, for the next 3-5 years.

So which one would I put all my eggs into: The Cleveland Guardians!

Browns: I could write about how Watson needs to return to form, and how the team needs to overcome adversity better but I’ll just say the Browns is the Browns so they get no eggs from me.

Cavs: This team has a superstar in Donovan Mitchell and the core is young with Garland, Allen, and Mobley and I really want to give them at least one egg, but it’s all or nothing, so no eggs.

Guardians: The team is loaded with youth, and because of the front office that youth is locked up for years to come. Jose Ramirez is a legitimate MVP candidate every year, and players such as Andres Gimenez, and Shane Bieber, make them on par with the Cavs young nucleus, but the difference is… TITO FRANCONA!

The reason why all my eggs go into the Guardians basket is because they have the best leader and that makes them Eggcellent!

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
