Tom Brady Not “Kidding” This Time, it’s About His Children.

Tom Brady, the winningest quarterback in the NFL with seven Super Bowl rings, has been like a boxer at the end of his career with the whole, “I got one more in me.” Brady said he was done last year, only to come back and play again for Tampa Bay, leading them to a division title and he once again said he was retiring this current offseason.

There have been multiple rumors of Tom Brady’s return for 2023 circulating just ask NBC Sports’ Mike Florio who always seems to have a Brady rumor involving a comeback with another team.

In February, Florio speculated that Tom Brady could possibly end up in San Francisco and lately it’s been the Miami Dolphins that Florio has linked Brady to.

If Tom Brady did want to make a comeback it would be easier considering as of Wednesday March 15 at 4:00pm E.T. he officially became a free agent.

Tom Brady did send the league his retirement letter five weeks ago, but that does not mean he is inelgible to change his mind and negotiate with a team if he so chooses.

However, the most recent TB news comes from an autograph signing in Tampa on Thursday March 16, in which he was asked about his future and Brady said, “There is nothing I love more than football, but I have young children and they watched enough of their dad’s games and it’s time for me to watch their games.”

I think I finally believe that Tom Brady is never going to take another snap in the NFL again, but truth be told, as an Ohio State graduate, I don’t believe anything that a former University of Michigan football player says.
