LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are officially limping to the finish of the NBA Regular Season. The Lakers announced on March 2 that LeBron James, was dealing with a tendon injury in his foot but the Lakers stated that LeBron would be reevaluated in three weeks…which a lot of fans misunderstood, or have been told otherwise by conflicting reports.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN stated that LeBron James isn’t close to returning to action following his current foot injury.

“LeBron is not close to returning, from what I am told. I know that everybody said the three weeks but I think it was very clear three weeks is when he’s going to get an official re-evaluation. It didn’t mean he’s coming back in three weeks. I know that LeBron has played through injuries in the past, I’m not 100 percent sure this is an injury you can play through.”

There has been plenty of conflicting reports from several reporters stating that LeBron is “ahead of schedule in his recover” to LeBron was “feeling much better but the Lakers are prepared to be without LeBron majority of the regular season”.

The Lakers currently sit in ninth palce in the Western Conference with a record of 34-36, and are two games behind the sixth place, Golden State Warriors.

Will the Lakers be able to manage without LeBron James for the rest of the regular season if needed? Let us know what you think on Twitter @WeLikeSportzPC.
