NFL free agency has officially begun and is already in full force.
Austin Ekeler and the Los Angeles Chargers couldn’t come to a reasonable agreement on Ekeler’s end and asked for permission to seek a trade on Monday.
As of Tuesday, the Chargers have granted Ekeler permission to seek a trade elsewhere.
Ekeler has been in the NFL for six years, all of them with the Chargers, and has started in a total of 54 games (89 games played total).
The Chargers running back has totaled 3,727 yards in 811 rushing attempts, Ekeler has a total of 34 touchdowns and also has 29 receiving touchdowns.
On the receiving side of the ball Ekeler has corralled in 389 passes for 3,448 yards throughout his career.
