This past Sunday, All Elite Wrestling put on their annual AEW Revolution Pay-Per-View. For the main event of the show, the AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman defended his championship against Bryan Danielson, in a sixty minute Iron-Man Match, that eventually needed extra time anyway.
MJF successfully defended his AEW World Championship, and per usual, spoke to the press, as most AEW talent does following a Pay-Per-View.
MJF opened his press conference by cutting a promo on the members of the media scrum following the event. During that time, did MJF possibly call out Roman Reigns, and the Bloodline during that promo?
The quote I am speaking about specifically is the following:
“I’m the ******* man now, me, I’m the best wrestler in the world. There is no more complete wrestler in this planet, nobody has my body, nobody has my mind, nobody’s got my brain, inside that ring, on the microphone, hell, even at the *** **** press conference, nobody can ******* touch me in this business. I don’t need a whole group backing me, I don’t need somebody in my ear advising me what to say, how to walk, how to talk, there is nobody and I mean none on my level.Your going to hear it over and over again because ain’t nobody dethroning the devil.”
The quote related to the Bloodline possibly is the part regarding the fact that MJF doesn’t need a whole group backing him.
MJF has been rumored to be interested in heading to the WWE once his AEW contract expires in 2024.
Did MJF take a shot at Roman Reigns and the Bloodline?? Let us know what you think on Twitter @WeLikeSportzPC.
