This Sunday evening we head to TD Garden in Boston, MA as the Celtics, take on the visiting New York Knicks. Sunday’s matchup is a prime example of buy low, sell high circumstances.

The Knicks have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA, winning eight straight games. They come in off an emotional, exciting, game winning buzzer beater, defeating the Miami Heat. Julius Randle dropped 43 points, but none more important than his step back three to win the game.

Boston comes into Sundays matchup off its worse loss of the season. The Celtics surrendered a 28 point lead to
the Brooklyn Nets, falling 115-105. Not only was it Boston’s worse loss, it was the biggest comeback this season by any team, surpassing the Lakers 27 point come back against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Celtics also come in with added motivation, along with revenge on their minds, as they fell to NY on February 27th 109-94. Jaylen Brown missed that contest, and Jayson Tatum was ejected in the 4th quarter. Boston currently holds a 25-8 record at home, while the Knicks are no slouch on the road at 19-12.

Depending on how deep a run NY can make in the playoffs, their thriller over Miami that warranted a Mike Green double “BANG” could be their biggest win of the season. Its hard to get up emotionally after a win like that.

Boston will be looking to do everything in their power to erase that collapse out their minds against Brooklyn.

Official Pick: Boston -5.5

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
