Big East – Marquette 

I think this is finally the Marquette Golden Eagles year, the team having not won a Big East championship since joining in 2005-06. Marquette has won the regular season championship this year making them the 1 seed in the tournament. The Golden Eagles have an overall record of 23-6 putting them at 6th in the AP Poll. Marquette averages 80 PPG while shooting just under 50% from the field. I believe Marquette can not only win the Big East, but also make a run for a national championship.
