With the news a few weeks ago, that former quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady is retiring, Tampa Bay is now in search of a new play caller behind center.
On Sunday morning, it was announced that the Bucs will be looking for a veteran quarterback and still want to compete this upcoming season.
With the San Francisco 49ers overloaded at the quarterback position, Jimmy Garoppolo, would only make sense for the Buccaneers to pursue.
The Niners have Trey Lance , as well as, Brock Purdy, in their quarterback room.
Jimmy G at one point in 2022 wasn’t thought to have any future with San Francisco, especially after the team announced they were giving Trey Lance an opportunity.
