The 2023 Super Bowl, or Super Bowl LVII for those who prefer roman numerals, have approached quickly. This year’s championship game is expected to be a great one with a showdown of Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs) and Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles).

Mahomes and Hurts have been two of the best quarterbacks in the league this season, so it’s certainly a game to look forward to.

The Chiefs and the Eagles tied for the best regular season record in the NFL this season (14-3) and have had solid players, so it’ll likely be a close game. The offensive line on each team has been particularly strong, which brings potential for a high-scoring game.

Mahomes has a slight edge over Hurts because he’s a veteran who has been to two Super Bowls and won one, whereas Hurts is more of a newbie who is in his first Super Bowl. Before this season, the furthest he had ever gone in the playoffs was the Wild Card Round.

Mahomes has proven time and time again that he can play under pressure, but Hurts has only proven his abilities in the regular season. He seems to play well under pressure for the most part, but the Super Bowl is another avenue that’s yet to be explored.

Anything can happen, and it’s truly a tossup of who may win. Both teams show an insane amount of potential, and it’s as close of a perfect matchup as it can get.

Then, of course, for those who love the halftime show, there’s Rihanna performing. She’s bound to put on a good performance. In true spirit of the Super Bowl, eat lots of good food, watch out for some funny new commercials, enjoy Rihanna’s performance and, as always, enjoy the game.
