On Sunday night, it was confirmed why Cavaliers forward, Kevin Love, hasn’t been playing for Cleveland.

Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, confirmed this news.

What does the future hold for Kevin Love? According to Cavaliers Nation, Love, could be on the move ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline.

In what would be a bittersweet situation, letting go of Love would possibly be a difficult time for fans. Love was one of the few pieces that stuck around following the 2016 NBA Championship season.

Sam Amico of Hoops Wire stated the following :

“Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love is ‘undoubtedly’ a name to watch ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, with several rival teams expressing interest in Love’s expiring contract.

Kevin Love hasn’t played in a game for the Cavs since January 24th and unfortunately, that could‘ve possibly been the last appearance for the former All-Star.

Love has been a member of the Cavaliers since 2014, and the departure will be a difficult one. Love was apart of the team that won the NBA Championship, as well as, remaining part of the organization following the departures of Kyrie Irving, and LeBron James.

Sam Amico continued on stating the following :

“Several opposing GMs told Hoops Wire via text that there is interest in Love, who has fallen out of coach J.B. Bickerstaff‘s rotation. Trading Love, though, may not be on the Cavs’ radar, as they would have to take back salary in such a deal, sources cautioned. Also, while Love isn’t playing at the moment, there has been ‘zero’ discussion of a potential contract buyout following the deadline, one source said.”
