The Cleveland Cavaliers head into Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers, sunday afternoon. Indiana comes in off an emotional 107-104 victory against the Sacramento Kings.
Only 2-8 in their last ten games, the Pacers offense got a much needed boost as Tyrese Haliburton, played in his second game since returning from injury.
Cleveland hasn’t performed well on the road, posting a 10-16 record on the season. Cleveland does seem to enjoy playing on Sundays though, as they’re 10-2-1 against the spread in their last 13 Sunday matchups. The Cavs are also 13-5-2 against the spread when they are a favorite of five points or more.
I lean Cavaliers in this matchup, with this potentially being a mental let down spot for Indiana. Beating the Kings meant something, due to the fact, former players and teammates faced off.
Cleveland comes in with an extra days rest, not playing since Thursday. The Cavaliers will come to Indiana with revenge on their mind falling to the Pacers 135-126 on December 29th. These two teams will meet again on April 2nd in Cleveland.
Official Play : Cavaliers -4.5.
