Who are the Biggest All-Star Snubs in the NBA?

With the NBA announcing their All-Star reserves Thursday night, here is who we believe was snubbed. Even though Jimmy Butler, has missed some games, other guys have as well, but Butler, missed out on being named a reserve.

Why is Butler not in? We would put Jalen Brunson, in over Julius Randle, as Brunson, has been the better player for the Knicks. Personally, I think Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, should have been a starter.

Backcourt stars such as, James Harden, Trae Young, Darius Garland, & De’Aaron Fox were also left off the All-Star roster.

In my opinion, the biggest surprise in the West, is first time All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr., making the game as he also has missed significant time. No hate towards Jackson Jr., but I believe there are better options out there. Other first time All-Star’s include, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lauri Markkanen, & Tyrese Haliburton.

For my biggest surprise in the East, it has to be Jrue Holiday, making the All-Star reserves. I certainly think he is an amazing defender, however, when players like, Butler, Harden, Brunson, Trae Young, and Garland are left off, that leaves basketball fans confused. As mentioned previously, Butler has missed some time, but I believe that one of the other four listed above, would be chosen instead of Holiday.

The biggest snub, I believe, would have to be De’Aaron Fox, who has been a big factor in the Sacramento Kings’ recent success.

The Kings definitely deserve two All-Stars, the second possibility, easily, Domantas Sabonis.
