This past week, Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn, informed Head Coach Mike McCarthy, that he would be returning to the Dallas Cowboys. The news was unbelievable to many Cowboys fans, to say the least.

The Cowboys led the league in turnovers for a second consecutive season with Dan Quinn as the Defensive Coordinator, and are trying to do it again. Coach Quinn is one of the only members of the Dallas Cowboys staff that doesn’t get ripped by fans week in and week out. After the loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week, fans started demanding certain players and coaches to be fired or cut from the team. One of those people being Offensive Coordinator, Kellen Moore.

Kellen Moore has served as the Offensive Coordinator under former Head Coach Jason Garrett’s staff, as well as, current Head Coach , Mike McCarthy’s staff. The Cowboys moved on from Jason Garrett when the team was consistently finishing right around the .500 mark or barely above it. Now, the Mike McCarthy led Cowboys, have finished over .500 for two consecutive years. Along with the fact, both seasons consisted of 12 win seasons. The offensive production is there, but one of the biggest issues is the play calling.

During the game last Sunday, the Cowboys were faced with a 3rd and 2. The play that was called had Quarterback Dak Prescott, lined up empty in the backfield with a five wide set. The play call simply didn’t add up. Fans voiced their opinions about it on Twitter. After the game, Kellen Moore, found himself on the hot seat. Moore had one of the most productive seasons yet without his starting quarterback all season, fans all of the sudden wanted him gone.

The biggest question now is will Coach McCarthy move on from Kellen Moore, or will Dallas decide to run it back one more year and attempt to get a Super Bowl to the Dallas Cowboys?

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
