There has been speculation for most of the season regarding the fact, will the Cleveland Cavaliers look to trade Caris LeVert?
LeVert has performed well this season and has been a solid ball handler for the Cavs, especially with Donovan Mitchell, off the court at times this year.
The NBA Trade Deadline is quickly approaching with February 9, right around the corner. With the deadline approaching , many teams have expressed interest in LeVert. Teams that have been interested in the Cavs forward/ shooting guard have been, the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Charlotte Hornets.
Sam Amico, of Hoops Wire reported, that the Cavs believe they haven’t receiver decent offers for LeVert.
“But right now, decent offers for LeVert don’t seem to be out there. And the Cavs are far from determined to trade him, sources said. In fact, they like the team as it’s constructed, and are willing to let it gel and work on upgrades during the offseason.”

A source also mentioned to Amico the following regarding the possibility of upgrading the team:
“If you’re going to do that later in the season, you’d better be sure the new guy is an obvious upgrade.”
