On Tuesday Night, the Vegas Golden Knights traveled to Newark to take on the New Jersey Devils.

The Golden Knights came into Tuesday looking to make history by becoming the first team in NHL history to win at least 30 games in their first six years of existence.

The Golden Knights took on an extremely tough Devils team.

The Devils had only lost one game in regulation since the New Year heading into their matchup with Vegas.

The Vegas Golden Knights were unable to make history on Tuesday night, but did manage to take New Jersey into overtime.

The Devils, eventually beat the Golden Knights in overtime, with a score of 3-2.

Vegas will have to wait until Friday for a chance to make NHL history, when they take on the New York Rangers.
