This past Friday, the Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Golden State Warriors in Cleveland and had four players out of their starting five sitting out.

For fans that are traveling to see their favorite player in action, especially when they get to the arena, it would only be fair if the NBA or the team would offer a refund for those fans.

This has started to become a common occurrence for the NBA in the past few years.

Teams in the NBA have too many back to back games scheduled, what is the solution?!

I personally think it’s time to take out a few preseason games , similar to the NFL, and make the NBA scheduled longer as a whole to avoid as many back to back matchups.

Anybody can understand players being exhausted especially in basketball , but because they play as often as they do, and usually play during the off-season as well, it’s time for the NBA to avoid this issue.

On Tuesday night , for the second time within the previous week, a younger NBA fan traveled with their family to see their favorite player in action.

This young fan traveled to see Jimmy Butler in action for the Heat but by the time they arrived to the arena the disappointment set in.

The NBA should strongly consider making the season longer or at minimum think about giving refunds to the fans that are traveling 800+ miles away.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
