Is Tom Brady Done?

CLEVELAND – Tom Brady is known to be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. Brady played college football at the University of Michigan from 1995-1999, he was later drafted by the NFL powerhouse New England Patriots in the 2000 NFL Draft in the 6th round.

Brady was a Patriots QB for 19 years, and led the Patriots to 6 Super Bowls as the starting Quarterback. As he grew older, many thought that the Brady Era was coming to an end. In 2018, Tom won his 6th Super Bowl with the Patriots, and then in 2019, the world witnessed something they never thought would happen Tom Brady made his decision, he left the New England Patriots and took his talents to Tampa, Florida and signed with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

In 2020, Tom Brady did the unthinkable, not only did he start a new chapter of his career with a new team, but he went on to win his first Super Bowl without the great Bill Belichick as his head coach, and Tom Brady’s 7th super bowl. I will be the first to admit that I truly thought that the success Brady had was mainly because of Belichick calling the plays. I was wrong, just like so many football fans. Tom Brady proved everyone wrong once again.

Brady continued his career in Tampa Bay after his 7th Super Bowl win, in the 2021 season, Brady begin to show his age, in dealing with some knee discomfort and needing to have a routine surgery to help his knee. Many thought that was it for Brady, I mean what more could he do to prove that he is the GOAT! After the 2021 season, Brady announced his retirement, finally the GOAT called it quits… JUST KIDDING, no more than 2 months later, Brady was coming back, and boy oh boy was that the wrong decision.

Brady’s decision to come back took a toll on his personal and family life. He was having issues off the field and looking at a divorce with his supermodel wife. The Bucs made the playoffs after having a rocky season, but were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

I think it is safe to say that it is the end of Tom Brady, what a career it has been for him, and no one deserves it more. Just a 6th round draft pick in 2000 to a 7 time Super Bowl Champ. CONGRATS ON THE AMAZING CAREER TOM. Now let my Steelers get back on track…a**hole.
